Beginning in March, Verde is excited to offer a series of tasting events on Tuesdays. These special events are meant to explore new tastes and flavors inspired by Mexican and Latin cuisine. Our schedule will be posted here soon, but here is a sampling of the special events we’re working to bring our guests:

• Patrón Family Tasting – A chance to learn more about one of the most popular brands of tequila in the world, including the family history and distillation process. Perhaps more interestingly, you’ll take in the flavors of the silver, reposado, añejo, and platino tequilas, plus the XO Café, and Citronage liqueurs.
• Flavors of Mexico – Chef LBEE is excited to present several “Tuesday Tastings” featuring modern Mexican cuisine, including recipes and demonstrations of a few tricks and techniques learned while cooking in Central America.
• Latin Wine Tasting – Oenophile Marko Steinhagen will offer tastes of current and new wines among Verde’s offerings and discuss pairings with different foods, including, of course, Mexican.
• Jose Cuervo Family Tasting – The Cuervo Tequila “Ambassador” is making a special trip to Pittsburgh for us to present the full line of 100% blue agave Jose Cuervo tequilas, including the famed Reserva de la Familia tequilas.
